Tom Julian is a noted trend expert with more than 20 years in the fashion world and 15 years in advertising and has received international credibility, giving him recognition in television, national newspapers, wire services, magazines and various industry trade publications.  Having served as the “secret weapon” for leading advertising agencies Fallon Worldwide and McCann Erickson, Julian proudly launched his own company Tom Julian Group in 2008.  With a sixth sense to seamlessly traverse industries including retail, financial, automotive and hospitality, he “connects the dots” and develops powerful business strategies that are expertly tailored to his clients’ goals.

Over the years his reputation for identifying unique insights on fashion and consumer trends has earned him the title of having the “Coolest Job” from Adweek magazine.  Julian also spearheaded the creation of the highly trafficked “Style” section of www.oscar.com, the official Internet site of the Academy Awards, and was its principal fashion commentator from the 67th to the 80th Annual Academy Awards ceremonies from 1995 to 2008.

With extensive experience traveling in all four hemispheres and a deep understanding of culture from a global perspective, Julian is often asked to share his keen viewpoints and marketplace observations.  He has served as a regular correspondent on the nationally syndicated fashion show “Main Floor” for eleven seasons as well as CNN’s Financial Network for eight years.  He has also been an ongoing contributor of fashion and lifestyle segments to a variety of shows from “The Insider” to “Live! with Regis and Kelly” and E! TV.  His business viewpoint has been seen on NBC’s “Today,” CNN Headline News and Fox News Channel, and Julian is regularly quoted by The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today and The Associated Press for his fashion and marketing expertise.  He currently resides in New York City.
